What is Summit Wellness?

Summit Wellness builds on The Summit FM’s former Rock+Recovery™ and KIDJAM! Radio™ programming – digging deeper into the healing power of music and music therapy to improve mental health and well-being.

Summit Wellness programming fosters participation in music as a shared experience across the entire life span, so all share the benefits. Our inclusive content links music and communities for greater social well-being.

Our Community Connection

Summit Wellness includes community through enhancing “mental health” public service announcements. These are professionally produced audio segments illustrating the life-changing effect of music on individuals in our community and programming exploring recovery techniques and stories of overcoming physical limitations and mental health challenges.

In addition, highly focused awareness campaigns, including substance use disorder, suicide prevention, autism mindfulness, teacher appreciation, LGTBQ+ awareness, celebrating local arts, and humanities, adoption awareness, health literacy months, bullying prevention, women/men’s health, and physical health exercise month. Listeners are encouraged to utilize local and national resources while being open to diversity and inclusion.
