"Music Alive" Spotlight: Milvet Guitar Repair

Through The Summit FM’s Marilyn Stroud Music Alive Program, generous donors give gently used instruments a second life. Those instruments are carefully repaired and placed directly into the hands of students at area schools—helping young musicians discover the power of music.

Thanks to this community, more than 800 instruments have already been donated to local students. 🎸🎺🎻

We’re excited to have Austin Milvet of Milvet Guitar Repair, a locally owned Akron business, as a partner for this incredible program. Austin handles all of our guitar and stringed instrument repairs—and is working on even more instruments to be distributed this year.
